The reunion began with a banquet at the Castine Manor Inn on Friday night. A proclamation was read from the Goveror of Maine naming Saturday, September 20, 2008 as Haskell Family Day in Maine. On Saturday morning the Haskell cousins visited the Stonington Historical Society on Deer Isle. Lunch and a business meeting were held at Pilgrims Inn. Everyone enjoyed lobster and steamed clams at a clambake dinner at Edgewood Farm. A bus tour to Arcadia Park and Bar Harbor on Sunday topped off a memorable reunion.
