Thomas, eldest son of John 3rd and Elizabeth Harris of Stonington, CT [other records say Ipswich, MA], born 1683, moved to Plainfield. CT, 1695 and later to Newbury, MA.,[in the vivinity of his grandmother's relations] where he married Love Curtis in 1719 at Boxford, MA. She was the daughter of Zachariah Curtis, Esq. Thomas became the ancestor of the Essex County, MA branch of the family.
