September 26,1940Funeral services for James Madison Curry, 62, resident of Springdale Since � May, 1939, who died at his Home here yesterday morning at 11:22, following a year's illness,were held this afternoon at 2:30 at the chapel of the Callison and Riggs Funeral home.
Mr. Curry was born March 12,1878 at Pickinville, Alabama, and was a son of Melton Curry and Mollie Pullum Curry of Alabama. He was a brother of Zack Curry. Mr. Curry is survived by his wife Grace Curry. Mrs and Mrs. Curry resided near Shawnee, Okla. Before moving to Springdale.

June 15, 2006PALMER - Madeline Mae (Sherman) Reynolds, 98, of Pleasant St. passed away June 14, 2006 at Wingate of Wilbraham. Born November 1, 1907 in Wales, Madeline has been a lifelong resident of Palmer and is the oldest member of the Second Congregational Church in Palmer.
Madeline was predeceased by her husband William E. in 1964, and is survived by her son Francis C. of Burlington, N.C. as well as 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was also predeceased by a son William E. Jr. in 1993 and a daughter Phyllis G. Gierlich in 1975.
