Harriet May Kimball

Find-a-Grave

Mrs. Harriet May Weston, for 30 years a resident of Malden, and a prominent worker in Converse Temple Pythian Sisters, passed away suddenly last evening at 7:10 from a cerebral hemorrhage, which she suffered shortly after a long telephone conversation with a friend. She was aged 74 years and a member of Mona Bina Eastern Star and Resolute Rebekah lodge.

Mrs. Weston made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Albert C. Wade, who was formerly Miss Estelle Weston. Mrs. Wade was in Boston shopping and called her mother on the phone about 10:45. There was no response and feeling something was wrong, Mrs. Wade phoned a neighbor, who went into the Wade home to find Mrs. Weston unconscious in the bathroom.

Medical aid was called but she never regained consciousness. Up to a week ago Mrs. Wade was thought to be enjoying good health. She had suffered a dizzy spell and complained of headaches during the week.

Mrs. Weston was born in Bremen, the daughter of William and Myra (Morton) Kimball and resided in Maine up to the time she came to Malden.

Besides Mrs. Wade, Mrs. Weston is survived by a granddaughter, Miss Betty Jean Wade; a brother, William Kimball of Bristol, and a sister, Mrs. Lucy Osier of Round Pond.

Albert C. Wade, son-in-law of the deceased, was on business yesterday at Ellsworth and on hearing of the serious illness of Mrs. Weston, hurried home by auto. This morning he received a telegram that his own mother, Mrs. Maude Kidder, 81, a life long resident of Toronto, had died in that city the same day his mother-in-law passed on.
