January 15, 1991Everett A. Slader, 84, of Rocky Hill Road, a dayshift supervisor for the former Lister Textiles for many years retiring in 1955, died yesterday at St. Joseph Hospital, North Providence. He was the husband of the late Agnes (LaTour) Slader.
Born in Scituate, a son of the late Arthur and Mary (Collins) Slader, he leved in Smithfield for most of his life.
He was a foster parent for more than 20 children.
He leaves five sons, Everett A. Slader Jr. of North Kingstown, Ernest R., Harold A. and Edward R. Slader, all of Smithfield, Robert S. Slader of Harrisville, Burrillville; two daughters, Mildred M. Smith of Edmonds, Wash. and Shirley M. Goulet of Norton, Mass.; a sister, Alice Bourassa of Lake Worth, Fla.; a brother, Arthur Slader of Smithfield; 21 grandchildren and 1 4great-grandchildren.

January 5, 2007ALICE E. BOURASSA, age 98 of Lake Worth, FL passed away January 1, 2007. She is survived by daughter, Edna Ianni of Lake Worth, FL; son, Donald Bourassa (Viola) of Rhode Island; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.

January 15, 2001FRANK J. IANNI, age 74, of Lake Worth, Florida, born in Cranston, R.I., on October 22, 1926, passed away on January 13, 2001. He worked at United Wire Corporation in Cranston, R.I. until moving to Florida in 1985 where he worked at Beach Point Condominium until he retired on April 30, 2000.
He was a gentle and compassionate man whose favorite pastimes were golf and travel, his last trip being to his beloved Italy. He was an avid golfer and one of his proudest moments was becoming a member of the Hole-In-One Club at Potowomut Golf Club in R.I.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Edna; a son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Rena of Cranston, R.I.; a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Kimberly Jill of Royal Palm Beach, Fla.; four granddaughters, Alicia, Vanessa, Helen and Jacquelyn Nicole; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Mary of Cranston, R.I.; and several nieces and nephews.

June 9, 2009BOURASSA, DONALD F., 77, of Belvedere St, died June 5, 2009 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Viola M. (Cooke) Bourassa for 52 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Aime and Alice (Slader) Bourassa.
Most recently Mr. Bourassa worked as a painter and wallpaperer for his son Ronald at R and K Enterprises. Prior to his retirement he worked for International Display and Davol Rubber. He was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean War.
Besides his wife he leaves his children, Deborah Correa and her husband Richard, Ronald Bourassa and his wife Kathleen, Lynn Kandzerski, Cynthia Pontin, Gerald Bourassa, and Kyle Bourassa and his wife Jennifer, a sister Edna Ianni, 10 loving grandchildren and 3 loving great-grandchildren.

September 16, 2010SLADER, MARY I., 76, of Taunton Ave, died September 15, 2010 at Briarcliffe Manor. She was the wife of Arthur A. Slader, Jr. Born in Georgiaville, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Yanik) Pimental. She was a homemaker and an avid bingo player.
Besides her husband, she leaves two children, Arthur A. Slader III of Johnston and Lynne Guido of Narragansett, grandchildren A. J. Slader and his wife Sandy, Aaron and Andrea Slader, Mary, Katherine, and Teresa Guido, and a great granddaughter Kaleigh James Slader. She was sister of the late Joseph Pimental, Elaine Gray, Gertrude Parenteau, and Phyllis Chase.

August 5, 2010SLADER, ROBERT, E., 73, of Checkerberry Road died Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at South County Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Deborah M. (Gregson) Slader. They were married for 47 years.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Arthur A. and Blanche R. (Laboissonniere) Slader, he lived in Narragansett for 26 years previously living in Glocester. Mr. Slader was a union carpenter retiring in 2002 and he also worked for Wigwam Saab as a parts courier.
He is also survived by his daughters, Eleanor 'Ellie' Bagshaw of Berlin, CT, Elizabeth M. 'Libby' Slader of Narragansett; grandson, Brian P. Bagshaw of Narragansett and a brother, Arthur Slader of Johnston.
