In loving memory of our loving son, Vaughn, who died July 1st 1922
In the near and lonely grave-yard
In a cold and silent grave
Lies our dear, loving son,
Whom we tried in vain to save.Short and sudden was the call
Of one we loved so dear.
But he has gone in body only,
For in spirit we feel him near.Friends may think we have forgotten
When at times they see us smile,
Little knowing what grief is hidden
Beneath the surface all the while.Inserted by mother, father and sister.
Mr. And Mrs. J. W. Haskell,
Sister, Mrs, Chelsley Roberts
Port Maitland, N.S.
