December 23, 1944Framingham, Dec. 23 - Frank B. Elder, 84, of Raymond st., died yesterday afternoon at the Framingham Union Hospital.
He was born in Lynn and came here 25 years ago on his retorement from the Standard Sugar Refinery of Boston, where he was a chemist.
He leaves his wife Addie A. (Scott) Elder, and a niece, Miss Mabel Finlay of Boston.
After the 1851 murder at sea of her father, Mary's mother allowed Mary N. Noonan to be adopted by Enoch Dole and his wife of Deer Isle, Maine, and her name was changed to Ella Dole. (Information posted by Kathy Fenton on RootsWeb.com WorldConnect, database Twigs and Branches.)
