2333. Caroline Elizabeth Amelia Haskell

Mrs. Caroline Cope, an old resident of Mount Barker, died on Saturday, at the age of 90 years. Mrs. Cope arrived in South Australia with her late husband, Mr. Samuel Cope, on January l8, 1854, by the ship William Hammond.
There were four children, of whom _three are living. They are Mrs. J. E. L. Sands, of South-terrace, Adelaide; Mis. J. Wallace, Broken Hill; Mr. S. Cope, Mount Barker. - Mr. H. Cope, the other son, died in Western Australia about twelve months ago. There are 33 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Mary Ann was raised by her aunt and uncle.
