WILBRAHAM - Ruth E. Haskell of 269 Stony Hill Road, a retired 36 year accountant at Monarch Life Insurance Co., died Tuesday in Baystate Medical Center, Springfield.

Born in Springfield, she graduated from the former Central High school. She retired in 1967. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and several of its organizations. She was also a member of Adelphia Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, and the Daughters of the American Revolution.

She leaves a niece, Janet K. Calabrese of Chicopee; a nephew, Ronald W. Kitchen of Springfield; three grand nephews and a grand niece.

Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.

A native of Springfield, he lived here for 36 byears. A graduate of Technical High School, Springfield, he was a member of Kent Island United Methodist Church, the Almus Temple of Washington, and was a 32nd degree Mason and Shriner. He was a Marine Corps veteran of WWII.

He leaves his wife, the former Verna Norfolk of Stevensville, Md.; a sister, Ruth E. Haskell of Wilbraham, Mass.
