December 10, 1948Pittsfield, Dec. 9 Mrs. Annie C. Lancey, 87. Died Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George A. Moore, 21 Libby street, after several months illness. She had resided in Pittsfield for the past five years. She previously lived in Hartland for 80 years.
She was the widow of George M. Lancey and was born in Scotland, Nov. 30, 1861, daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Patterson) Linn.
A member of the Grace Linn Memorial Methodist church, Hartland, she was a charter member of Evening Star chapter, No. 189 OES, and the Outlook club, both of Hartland.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. George A. Moore; a grandson, Merrill L. Donahue of Cumberland, Md.; a granddaughter, Charlotte Ann Donahue of Belfast; three nieces, Miss Elizabeth A. Linn of Wellesley, Mass., Mrs. Edwin Joy of Lewiston, and Mrs. Eunice L. Linn of Portland; and a nephew, Otho Linn of Bedford, Mass.
