Volume 9, No. 3, September 2000HENRY CODMAN LEONARD HASKELL, 66, died suddenly at his home in West Gloucester, Massachusetts, USA. A native of Gloucester, he was a descendant of the first settler of the name (NB William Haskell) in that locality. He wrote poems that often had historical subjects for their themes and was an insurance agent in business life. He was elected to the board of aldermen in 1875 and to the school board in 1885.
Henry C. L. Haskell was married to Anne E. Tucker.
Justin Edwards Haskell was a carriage maker.
