John Adam Arnott was a farmer.
Rowell Haskell was a mariner at age 23 (1860 Census for Deer Isle). At age 43 he is living in Chelsea, Massachusetts, and employed in a rubber mill. In the 1910 Federal Census for Bridgewater, Plymouth county, MA, Rowell is listed as an inmate in the Bridgewater State Prison.

March 1920John Perry, a long-time resident of Northend died Monday at his home 8 Birch Street. Funeral services were held there Wednesday forenoon, and the remains were taken to the receiving tomb at Sea View cemetery, with the five sons acting as bearers.
The deceased was born in Deer Isle on Christmas Day 1842, being the oldest of 13 children sic born to John and Salome (Bray) Perry.
He was hardly more than a youth when he began going to sea with his uncle Capt. Peter Gray in a full rigged brig.
July 9, 1864, he was married in Bath to Ellen Marcia Hall of Jefferson. They moved to Damariscotta, where Mr. Perry worked in the shipyard. Later he moved to Camden, and in March 1868 he became a resident of Rockland. His home was always in Ward 1, and for a long period of years was counted one of the staunchest supporters of the Republican party.
