March 31, 1944Mrs. Emma Elizabeth Dunham, 55, died last night at her home, 142 South Dodge. Born at Haysville August 4, 1888, Mrs. Dunham has lived in this community all her life. Her parents homesteaded four miles south of Wichita and one-half mile east of Broadway. She was a member of the Methodist church at Haysville.
Survivors are her husband, John H. Dunham; one daughter, Mrs. Elzada Schreffler, 1321 South Vine; two sons, John, in the navy, and Francis, 2525 South Mosley; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Benner, Rural Route No. 6 and Mrs. Bessie Carlson, 638 North Market, and two brothers, Lee Morgan, 235 North Sabin, and Jess Morgan, 301 Baehr.
