I, Thomas Haskil, now serving on board the United States Ship John Adams as ordinary seaman, known on the Paymasters books of said Ship, as Thomas Haskell, being of sound mind, do make this, my last will and testament.I do hereby will and bequeath to my sister, Almira Haskil, now, or lately living in Deer Isle, Hancock County, State of Maine, all the pay and emoluments now due to me, or that may hereafter become due to me, together with all property real and personal of which I may be possessed, or to which I may hereafter fall heirs for her sole and benefit. .
I thus constitute my said sister Almira my sole heir, and do hereby appoint her the sole executrix of this my last will and testament.
Done on board the United States ShIp John Adams, at Sea, on the thirtieth day of September, in the year or our Lord, Eighteen Hundred and SIxty one.
