Kenneth Earl Waldron, 85, of Front Royal, died Saturday (May 5, 2007) at Warren County Memorial Hospital in Front Royal.

Mr. Waldron was born January 31, 1922 in Paxton, Illinois, a son of the late Albert Neal and Eva Victoria Swanson Waldron.

He entered the Army in 1942 serving in the Field Artillery during World War II. After his military service, he attended Amherst College, Amherst, MA from 1945-1949, graduating with a degree in architecture He was a Personnel Manager for Connecticut Power and Light, retiring in 1982. He was a former Rotarian in Rockville and received its Citizen of the Year in 1982. Mr. Waldron was active in the Rockville Chamber of Commerce from 1966-1988 and also served on the Board of Directors for Rockville General Hospital from 1978-1988.

Surviving is a sister, Wanda Dyson of Champaign, Illinois.

Preceding him in death were his brothers Ralph and Merle Waldron and sisters Lucille Beals and Lorene Butterick.
