37008. Dr. Myron Allison Tanner
Find-a-Grave
Uncle Myron Tanner, was a chiropractor, way ahead of his time in his equipment and knowledge. His office was in Lamesa, Texas. He was extremely intelligent, a wonderful man and one of the best diagnosticians in his field per his partners statement in the southwest part of the USA. He graduated with honors from the Lincoln School of Chiropractic in Indianapolis. His sister, Willo and her husband Henry, attended his graduation. This school was considered one of the finest in the country. His death was extremely tragic and sad. His wife Iris, never recovered emotionally after it.His car, a Chrysler, was hit head on by a bus, who went up the wrong side of the road on a hill, on a very snowy road. I visited the Del Paso Hotel in Lamesa a few years ago and saw the actual rooms in this hotel where his office was. Its now an incredible museum. Uncle Myron will always have a special place in my heart, although I never knew him. He would be very near the top of my most admired list of relatives!!!
