February 26, 1916John W, Claghorn, president of the Ardmore National Bank, died yesterday at the Medico-Chirugical Hospital. He had been ill two weeks with gastric trouble. He was fifty years old.
Mr. Claghorn who lived at 206 Church road, Ardmore, is survived by a widow and one son, John W. Claghorn, Jr. He was the son of the late John W. Claghorn and the nephew of James Claghorn, known as an art critic. He was made president of the bank on January 11, with which he has been connected since its organization five years ago. His first position there was as a cashier. Before that time he was with the Franklin National Bank, this city.
Mr. Claghorn was born in Wayne. He was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Ardmore.
