January 15, 1925In failing health for the last three years, Philena G. Palmer, widow of Alonzo L. Palmer, passed away this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H. H. Shumway, 337, Winthrop Street. She was in her 89th year. Mrs. Palmer was born in Oxford, Me., and removed to Taunton about forty years ago. During her stay in Taunton Mrs. Palmer has always been an attendant of the Unitarium church.
The deceased is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Herbert M. Shumway, and Mrs. Ida M. Wilcox, both of this city, and Mrs. Edward S. Belsher of Fall River.
