December 7, 2012Warren P. Carpenter, 90, formerly of Manchester, died Dec. 4, 2012, at the New Hampshire Veterans Home, Tilton.
Mr. Carpenter was born in Manchester on April 26, 1922, and was the son of Ralph C. and Anna Vida (MacQuarrie) Carpenter.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served proudly in the U.S. Army, and participated in the Battle of the Bulge.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Prior to his retirement he was employed with Goulet Printing Co. in Nashua.
Mr. Carpenter, loved to spent time with his family through the years.
Burial with military honors in Pine Grove Cemetery.

December 4, 1996Mildred M. Bump, 92, of 289 Perkins Road, died Sunday evening at United Helpers Canton Nursing Home, where she had been a resident since Oct. 11.
Mrs. Bump and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm on Pocketville Road until their retirement.
Born Feb. 12, 1904, in Parishville, a daughter of Ephriam and Anna Foster Trumble, she attended Parishville schools and married Erwin Bump in 1922. Mr. Bump died Jan. 26, 1966.
Surviving are two sons, Royal A. and Arnold K., both of Parishville; two daughters, Evelyn D. Bump, Parishville, and Mrs. Lonny (Lillian) Wilson, Newfane, 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

March 20, 2008Royal A. Bump, 85, a resident of United Helpers Canton Nursing Home, formerly of Parishville, died Tuesday at Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Potsdam, where he had been a patient since Monday.
Mr. Bump worked at a sawmill and then on the family farm for many years.
Born Oct. 18, 1922, in Parishville, son of Erwin L. and Mildred Mae Trumble Bump, he attended rural schools in Parishville. He enjoyed cutting wood, fishing, hunting, music and watching television.
Surviving are two sisters, Evelyn Bump, Parishville, and Lillian Wilson, Newfane, and several nieces and nephews.
A brother, Arnold, died before him.

Archie A, Tower, 77, died on Tuesday (6/17/1952) at his farm home near Buckton. He was born on 8/19/1874 in Dickinson Center, a son of Almon and Emily Haskell Tower.
He married Miss Myrtle Morey in Nicholville on Sept. 1, 1900.
Surviving was his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Clara Hartson and Mrs. Dominie (Nora) Lucente; two sons, Deforest and Maj. Archie Tower; nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, a brother, Herman Tower; and one sister, Mrs. Bert (Mamie) Bellows.

Winthrop � Mrs. Myrtle Tower, 80, died on Tuesday (7/10/1962) in the Potsdam Hospital. She was born on 6/5/1882 in Dickinson Center, a daughter of Jackson and Della Wilson Morey.
She married Archie Tower on 9/1/1900 in Nicholville. The couple operated a farm in the Buckton area up until the time of his death in 1952.
Myrtle was survived by two sons, Archie and DeForest; two daughters, Mrs. Clara Hartson, and Mrs. Dominic (Norma) Lucente; three sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Lavina) (no last name given. DLW) Mrs. Francis (Etta) Riley, and Mrs. Ella Shampine; eight grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren
