BELFAST � Gladys E. Ross, 77, died April 22 at a hospital here. She was born in Belfast, Dec. 8, 1898, daughter of Elroy P. and Alvina Haskell Michaels.
She graduated from Belfast High School in 1916 and from Burdett College in 1924. She worked as a secretary in Boston and New York before returning to Belfast to spend the remainder of her life.
Surviving are an aunt; a nephew and several nieces.
