Obituary
Mrs. Catherine Edith Mack, a resident of Salida for 30 years, died at 10:05 o'clock Monday evening in the D&RGW hospital, following a cerebral hemorrhage suffered earlier in the evening.
Survivars are four nieces, and two nephews, Mrs. Glen Kirkwood, Mrs. Carson Tinnin, Mrs. Jack Russell, Miss Frances Melrose, Guy Melrose and Harry G. Melrose.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Salida and the Order of the Eastern Star.

March 4, 1948Abram E. Mack, dean of the Masonic Veterans' Association of Connecticut, died at his home, 108 East Pearl Street, New Haven on Wednesday, February 25, aged 97 years.
A son of Henry L. Mack, one-time deputy warden at the Connecticut State Prison, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Frederick Goebel of New Haven and a son, Philip S. Mack of Hamden.
He was a member of Hiram Lodge, No. 1, A.F. & A.M.since April 14, 1879 and was also a veteran member of Franklin Chapter R.A.M., Harmony Council, New Haven Commandery No. 2, Knights Templar, Pyramid Temple, Shriners and the Second Comany, Governor's Foot Guard. For many years he conducted a carriage shop in George street.

For many years he was was a gate tender on the "New Haven" road and the Hartford-Wethersfield line crossing. He leaves a daughter, Miss Charlotte E. Skaats; a son Henry B. Skaats; a brither Joseph T. Skaats; a sister, Miss Elizabeth R. Skaats, and a grandson, all of Wethersfield.
