Mrs. Nora Talbot Fisher, wife of the late Walter Fisher, passed away about 11 PM Sunday night, October 2, at her home here. She had been ill since last February.
Nora Dell Talbot was born in the town of Edmeston, daughter of Newell N. and Vanette West Talbot. November 2, 1892, she was married to Walter Fisher, who died several years ago.
Nearly all of her life was spent in this vicinity, excepting a few years at Schuyler Junction where Mr. Fisher had charge of the Borden plant. Early in life she united with the Baptist church and was a loyal member and regular attendant as long as health permitted.
Mrs. Fisher was very much interested in young people, especially Russell, Jean and Robert Talbot, children of Mr. and Ms. Paul Talbot.
She has been tenderly cared for during her last days by Miss Maude Pelton and Mrs. Paul Talbot. Miss Mildred Carr has been a sympathetic companion for several months, helping to make her life a little happier.

ObituaryThe death of Daniel A. Dyer occurred at his home Sunday afternoon. His death was very sudden and unexpected. He had been in poor health for some time, but his condition was not thought serious. After eating dinner he retired to his room, where his daughter, Mrs. Rose Chase, soon after found him dead. It is thought that his death was caused by heart failure. Mr. Dyer had for many years been the proprietor of the village hotel. He was a kind man, ever ready to befriend those in trouble, and none who sought his help were turned away.
He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Rose Chase, a son, Albertus Dyer, and a brother and sister, Eli Dyer and Mr. H. O. Cole.
