ObituaryDied: Last Saturday morninh, Daniel Haskill, an old pioneer, died. He was one of Iowa's early settlers, having come here in 1852 and entered land from the government in Tama county. He was born in Canada, has been twice married, his first with Aurora Baldwin, having died a few years ago. Ten children, of whom six are still living were the result of the union. His second wife, Sarah Young survives him. Of Mr. Haskill it is not necessary to say much. He was honest and industrious and at one time was one of our wealthiest men, but adverse circumstances coming later in life, he had but little left. He had but lately moved to town expecting to spend the remainder of his life at ease, but a gracious God saw fit to remove him from earthly troubles.
