Cassius M. Caughey

Cassius Caughey, former engineer of the Prosperity Company, died yesterday afternoon at his home 416 Westcott Street. He had lived in Syracuse the last five years and was a native od Erie, Pa.

Mr. Caughey attended Edinburgh Normal School and was graduated from Pennsylvania State College with the class of 1893. He was a member of Maple River Lodge 41, F. and A. M. of Edgely, N. D. and of the First Church of Christ Scientist, Syracuse.

Surviiving are his wife, Mrs. Lena Caughey; a stepdaughter, Miss Geraldine Madden, and a brother, Samuel caughey of Toledo, Ohio.

YARMOUTH- Sept 30 - One of Yarmouth County's best known citizens, George Warren McGray, passed away at his home in Chegoggin on Thursday Sept 24. Seventy-eight years of age, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick (Eunice Deviller) McGray and was born in East Chebogue.

An interior decorator by trade, Mr. McGray was better known for his talents as an entertainer, especially in recitations of French Canadian stories and poems.

Surviving besides his wife are two daughters: Mrs. Lawrence Cann, Sydney, and Mrs. Loran Sweeney, Chegoggin; four sons, Warren, Truro; John, Lakeside; Clarence, Hebron; Rev. George McGray, Halifax; one brother, Fred McGray, Needham, Mass.; six sisters, Miss Lydia McGray, Mrs Alfred McKenzie, Mrs. William Earle, Mrs. Henry Reynolds, all of Mass.; Mrs. Brandon Smith, Yarmouth, and Mrs. Gordon Smith, Salem; also 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
