Born in Newark, Mrs. Benedict lived in Dover, Berkeley Heights and Houston, Texas, before moving to Convent Station in 1980.
Surviving are a daughter, Muriel Ann; a son, James G.; sisters, Jean Best and Rosemary Connelly, and two grandchildren.

March 27, 2008Jean Best, 83, of Oakhurst, Ocean Township, passed away Tuesday, March 18, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch.
Mrs. Best was born Feb. 22, 1925 in Lyndhurst and the resided in Dover, and Marshalls Vreek, Pa. for many years before moving to Oakhurst 20 years ago. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Mrs. Best was predeceased by her husband Russell Best.
She is survived by her children, Jill McGuire and her husaband David, and James Best. She will be deeply missed by her two grandchildren; and her two great-grandchildren.

August 7, 2013James W. Hoehn Jr., 85, died surrounded by family on July 24.
Born in Chatham, he lived in Denville in the 1950s, Little Silver during the 60s and 70s, Wheaton, Ill. through the 1980s and back to Denville in 1989.
He had served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. Hoehn achieved a bachelor's degree from Monmouth University in 1970. He had worked as a purchasing manager at Bell Labs/Lucent in Holmdel and Naperville, Ill. for 37 years before retiring in 1989. He was a member of the Indian Lake Community Club, Peace Pipe Golf Club and volunteered at the Superior Court in Morristown and the United Way, where he received a gold award.
Hoehn Jr. is survived by his children, James W. Hoehn III and his wife, Mary, Kathleen Rizzo, and Jacqueline and her husband, Andrew Mast; grandchildren, Kerry, Dallas and James W. Hoehn IV, Scott and his wife, Megan Rizzo, Andrew Jr. and Bailey Mast; great-grandchildren, Kristopher Hoehn and Ryder Rizzo.
He was predeceased by his wife, Eileen (Buckley) Hoehn, in 2001.

May 21, 2015Eugene Edward Vinal, Gysgt Usmc (Ret.), 82, died May 15, 2015 at his home. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War, a Purple Heart recipient, a Vietnam War veteran and an aerial navigator. Mr. Vinal was also a retired instructor for State Tech.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Mary Vinal; daughter Rosiland Craig; son David Vinal; sister, Fay Schilling; brother Eugene Vinal; seven grandchildren, Shelby Craig, Candle Craig, Haley Middleton, Dillion Morgan, Aaron Morgan, Chloe Morgan, Austin Perry; and two great-grandchildren, Jaylyn and Julie Grace. He was preceded in death by two sons, Tom Vinal and Larry Morgan, Jr. and one sister.

Mrs. Connelly was born in Dover, NJ and lived in Denville, NJ the last 59 years. Mrs. Connelly was the owner operator of the Annes Ceramic in Denville for many years until her retirement in 2001.
Mrs. Connelly leaves her husband of 44 years, Robert W., her children, Patricia Fleming of Maitland, Fl, Robert T. of Denville, Karen Wianecki of Rockaway, and Anne Marie Connelly of Denville; she was the grandmother of nine grandchildren and one great grandson; and sister of Jean Best.

March 23, 2004Darleen M. Cook, 69, of Factoryville, formerly of Greeley, died Friday, March 19, 2004, at Mercy Hospital, Scranton. Her husband James H. "Cookie" Cook preceded her in death on November 18, 1997.
Born In Los Angeles, CA, on August 12, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Vera (Scott) Haskell.
She was retired from General Motors and also was an interior designer for Home Interiors, Inc., for 19 years. She was an emergency medical technician for the Delaware Township Volunteer Ambulance, Dingman's Ferry, and the Lackawaxen Township Volunteer Ambulance, Lackawaxen.
Surviving are a daughter, Cheryl Cook-Drake, Factoryville; and four grandchildren, Andrew, Courtney, Jerry and Danielle, Factoryville.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Ronald David Cook on November 4, 1984.
Interment, German Hill Cemetery, Shohola.

Born: in Brookline, MA in 1906, a son of the late Eli and Cora Newell Jolin.
Personal: His lifetime companion of 65 years, Carl Reynolds, an architect for Hugh Moore died in 1985.
He was a retired interior decorator for W&J Sloane & Co. in New York City on many noteworthy commissions including The Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs.
Hervey was well known in the area as a raconteur nicknamed "The Mayor of Coffeetown" who regaled friends and neighbors with tales of both rural Williams Twp life and New York City Theatrical adventures dating back to the late 1920's.
He recently achieved growing appreciation through a Documentary film on his life along with the lives of his theatrical friends, entitled "The Pool of Desire" a reference to a local swimming hole.
He attended a New York City screening of his film last week.
Hervey was avid reader, art enthusiast and film buff who possessed what friends termed a photographic memory. He proudly never owned a television set.
Survivors: by Mr. Reynolds nephew, Francis Joe O'Hagan of Kauai, Hawaii, a niece, Patricia O'Hagan Henderson of Forest Lake, Minn; countless friends including members of his Camp Fleming Family Circle from the 1930's including Cris Alexander, Photographer and Broadway performer, Shaun O'Brien, Principal Dancer with the New York City Ballet and actress Dody Goodman.
Ann was adopted.

He was a member of Mt. Moriah Lodge No. 2, F. and AM, 32nd Degree Mason in Scottish Rite with decoration KCCH. Also he was a member of Second Church of Christ, Scientist, Salt Lake City.He leaves a son in Sarasota, Florida; a daughter in San Antonio, Texas; and numerous grandchildren and many friends.

She was born November 14, 1906, to Charles E. Reich and Fleeta Evans Reich in Beaver Falls, Penn., and married Glen W. Caler April 1937. He died in June 1968. She was married to Llewellyn G. Haskell December 1975, who survives her. Also survived by a daughter, Fleeta Jane Bodosi of Akron, Ohio.
