Cyrus Haskell was a mill man.
Ephraim Chick Haskell was a farmer and a miller, having for many years carried on the grist and saw mill at Walker's Pond, near Conway Center. In 1838 he went to the State of Georgia to set up a mill, and on return was cast away and suffered great privation, but finally reached home.
