Descendants of William Hascall of Fontmell Magna (1490-1542)

Notes

4707. Edward Haskell

Edward Haskell was a fisherman.  According to the Rockport vital records he died of consumption and chronic gastritis on 5 December 1848 at the age of 67.

The parents of Edward Haskell and his birthdate are uncertain.  According to some records he was the son of Levi and Lucy (Elwell) Haskell and born in Gloucester 7 November 1774.  Other records have Edward the son of Josiah and Abigail (Fellows) Haskell and born in Gloucester 5 March 1780; these records are provisionally accepted here.  The Rockport death record for Edward supports the 1780 birth date.
