MERRIMACK -- Brice F. Haskell, 73, of 146 Amherst Road, died Jan. 28, 2004, at home after a lengthy illness. Born in Topsham, Maine, Feb. 12, 1930, he was a son of Frederick and Gertrude (Manson) Haskell.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1951 to 1953 and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was employed for many years at Nashua Foundry.

Mr. Haskell was predeceased by his wife, Flora R. (Huba) Haskell, and by a son, Brice F. Haskell II. The family includes a son, Wayne Haskell of Merrimack; two daughters, Beverly Fortin of Chicago, Ill., and Kendra Haskell of Manchester; three grandchildren; two brothers, Graham Sequin of Merrimack and Bradley Sequin of Brattleboro, Vt.; a sister, Beverly Spurlin; and several nieces and nephews.

Burial will be in Last Rest Cemetery in Merrimack

MERRIMACK  Flora Rose Haskell, 65, of 146 Amherst Road, died April 22, 1997, in her home after a long illness. She was born in Elmsmer, N.Y., May 11, 1931, the daughter of Earl James and Flora Etta (Rose) Huba.

Mrs. Haskell had been a resident of Merrimack since 1968. Before retiring, she was employed at Hitchiner Manufacturing, Milford.

Her son Brice F. Haskell II, died Nov. 23, 1972. The family includes her husband, Brice F. Haskell of Merrimack; a son, Wayne Haskell of Milford; two daughters, Mrs. Kevin (Beverly) Fortin of Chicago and Kendra Haskell of Manchester; three grandchildren; a brother, Earl Huba of New York; two sisters, Lucy Seguin of Nashua and Anne Gannon of California; nieces and nephews.

Burial in Last Rest Cemetery.

FITCHBURG - Carolyn (Haskell) Lockhart, 81, formerly of Storrs, Conn., a former record librarian, died Monday in Hillcrest Nursing Home after an illness.

Her husband, Thomas H. Lockhart, died in 1992. She leaves two daughters, Virginia Lockhart of Ashland and Lynn Lockhart of Leominster; and four granddaughters.

Born in Pittsfield, daughter of Harry O. and Julie M. (Pilon) Haskell, she lived many years in Storrs and two years in Ashland before recently moving here. She attended Larson College in New Haven, Conn.

Mrs. Lockhart worked in the Far Eastern Languages department at Yale University in New Haven before she retired.

PITTSFIELD -- Clarence Haskell, 90, of 15 Dickinson Ave. died Saturday at Willowood of Pittsfield, where he had resided since last year.

Born in Pittsfield on March 29, 1909, son of John A. and Alice Haskell Gorman,he attended local schools. He was a bugler in the National Guard.

Mr. Haskell was employed by a railroad company for 15 years and by Crane & Co. for 22 years, retiring in the early 1970s. He was a member of First Congregational Church of Dalton, Wahconah Country Club, the NRA, and a life member of the Dalton Rod & Gun Club.

He and his wife, the former Dorothy Nagelschmidt celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary in July. Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters, Joyce Haskell Mason of Windsor and Judith Haskell Suriner of Cummington; a son, Jack Haskell of Richmond; his former wife, Barbara H. Wuensch of Spring Hills, Fla.; 12 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

DALTON - Barbara S. Haskell-Wuensch, 81, formerly of Dalton, died June 7 at her home in Spring Hill, Florida, where she resided since 1961.

Born in Chester, August 26, 1922, a daughter of Burt and Armantine Bienvenue Sherwood, she was educated in Chester and West Springfield schools. While in Dalton, she had been employed as a waitress at the former Crane Inn in Dalton. She was a member of the first Congregational Church of Dalton.

Ms. Haskell-Wuensch was predeceased by two former husbands, Clarence Haskell and Edward Wuensch.

Ms. Haskell-Wuensch is survived by a son, John R. Haskell of Dalton, two daughters, Judith M. Surnier of Cummington and B. Joyce Mason of Windsor; a brother, Burt Sherwood of Marietta, Georgia; a sister, Vera Ruggieri of West Springfield, 12 grand children, 16 great grandchildren and a great grandson as well as her longtime companion, William Staral, with whom she lived.

She was predeceased by a sister, Bella Kidder.

PITTSFIELD -- Dorothy Louise Haskell, 80, of 120 Onota St., formerly of 15 Dickinson Ave., died Saturday at Willowood of Pittsfield, where she had resided for one day.

Born in Pittsfield on Nov. 26, 1919, daughter of Fred C. and Jessie E. Giblett Nagelschmidt, she was a 1937 graduate of Pittsfield High School. Mrs. Haskell was employed by GE for 39 years in the payroll department, retiring in 1982.

Her husband, Clarence Haskell, died Dec. 25, 1999. She leaves a brother, Fred C. Nagelschmidt Jr. of Ventura, Calif.; two sisters, Lois E. Baccoli of Pittsfield and Barbara J. Stojda of Adams; a stepson, John R. Haskell of Richmond; two stepdaughters, Joyce Mason of Windsor and Judith Suriner of Cummington. F

A lifelong resident of Pittsfield, he was a World War II three year Army veteran and served in the European Theater. He was a communicant of St. Therasa's Church, Pittsfield.

He leaves his wife, the former Sophie Tymxzzuk; two sons, David P. of Northfield and Dennis P. of Hunter College, N.Y., and his mother, Mrs. Raymond (Haskell St. James of Pittsfield.

Kenneth Malcolm Jenkins

Kenneth M. Jenkins, 76, formerly of 18 Newton St. died Thursday after a long illness.

He was born in Portland, a son of William and Marion Eunice Bailey Jenkins, attended Portland schools and graduated from Windham High School in 1934.

Mr. Jenkins was a truck driver all his life, and most recently worked for Congdon Transportation until his retirement. He was a volunteer for many years on the Portland Police Reserve. He also served with the armed forces during World War II. He had Portland's first modular home and was the subject of a Press Herald feature story about the hosue. His longtime hobby was CB radio. His handle was ''Mr. Riverton.''

His wife, the former Marguerite J. Haskell, died in 1992.

Surviving are two sons, Kenneth M. Jr. of Freeport and Stephen A. of Portland; a daughter, Dianne Roussel of Westbrook; a brother, Robert Jenkins of Boston; a sister, Marjorie Donovan of Portland; nine grandchildren and a great-grandson.

EULALIA HASKELL CONNORS, 82, of West Haven, formerly of Milford, died Jan. 29. She was the widow of Gerald Connors.

A retired registered nurse, Mrs. Connors for more than 30 years worked in Pond Point Extended Care Facility in Milford. She also had been involved in opening the Veterans Administration Hospital in West Haven.

Mrs. Connors was a nurse when she served in the Army during World War II. She was a member of VFW Post 8899.

Survivors include a daughter, Norma Connor-McLane of Warwick, R.I.; sons James of Milford and John of Rutland, Vt., and two grandchildren.

MANCHESTER -- Richard F. "Dick" Haskell, 86, died Aug. 21, 2008, in a local hospital. He was born in Revere, Mass., April 17, 1922, to Lawrence and Marion (Rogers) Haskell.

He was a 1939 graduate of Somerville High School and a 1948 mechanical engineer graduate of Northeastern University. Mr. Haskell was employed at Stone & Webster Engineering Corp. for 12 years, three years with Thermodynamics Corp. and 19 years of civil service with the Department of the Air Force, before retiring in 1982.

Mr. Haskell served in the U. S. Army during World War II with the 357th Fighter Group Association. He was a 54-year member of AF&AM Somerville Lodge, a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader. He was a member of the Hooksett-ites Seniors.

Family includes his wife of 65 years, Gloria (DiGiacomo) Haskell; sons Paul and Ronald Haskell, both of Vermont; a grandson, nieces and nephews.
