HUNTLEY - Karen L. Blaney, 66, of Huntley, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012. She was born Dec. 20, 1945, in Chicago, the daughter of James and Mildred (Haskell) Toal.

Karen loved traveling, especially to Aruba, until her heath declined. She was very fortunate to receive a double lung transplant that enabled her to live 10 additional years with her loving family. She truly enjoyed watching her favorite TV programs and visiting. Through it all, her family was by her side and she dearly loved spending time with them.

She is survived by her beloved children, Kimberly Jaminski and Mark Blaney; loving granddaughter, Karly Blaney; stepfather, Frank Campanile; dear brother, Jim Toal; special friend and father to her children, William "Billie" Blaney; special cousin and caregiver, John Toal; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Frank Toal.

WEST FRANKFORT -- Dora P. Dugger, 76, of Westfield, Ind., formerly of West Frankfort, departed this life Saturday, June 21, 2003, in Westfield, after a long illness.

She was born July 14, 1926, in West Frankfort, a daughter of George and Maggie Wesson Haskell.

Dora was a graduate of Frankfort Community High School, class of 1943.

After high school, she worked at Bendix Corp. in Chicago, making parts for airplanes during World War II. She was a "Rosie the Riveter" gal. She was a cook at Pickett's Cafeteria in Westfield for 20 years before retirement.

She attended Sheridan Bible Church in Sheridan, Ind. Dora married Ellis Wayne Dugger on Dec. 27, 1944. There were married until 1996 and had six children.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Trudy and Jerry McMullan and Cynthia and Mark Holliday, all of Westfield, Ind.; four sons, Larry Dugger and Timothy E. Dugger, both of Westfield, David L. Dugger of Indianapolis, Ind., and Richard A. Dugger of Frankfort, Ind.; two sisters, Marie Crowell of Champaign and Jean Rae Winget of Evansville, Ind.; a brother, C. Edward Haskell of Addison; 20 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. She was affectionately known as "Grammie Dorie" and loved very much by them. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and six sisters.

He was a coal miner and iron worker. He was a member of the American Legion Post 389 and a charter member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Zeigler, IL. He served in World War II.

Survivors include one daughter, Lynn Zimmerman of Fort Lauderdale, FL.; one brother, Bill Kelley of West Frankfort, IL.; two sisters, Margaret Hemphill of West Frankfort and Mildred Sticklus of Chicago, IL.

Preceding him in death were his parents, one brother, Paul and one infant sister, Ruth.

CHAMPAIGN �  Marie JoAnne Crowell, 83, of Champaign passed away peacefully on Friday evening (March 18, 2016).

The eighth child of George and Maggie Haskell, JoAnne was born on Sept. 1, 1932, in West Frankfort, Ill. Joanne married Gene Crowell on Nov. 26, 1955.

A dedicated and loving wife and mother, she and Gene have three children, Nancy (Kent Hawthorne), Tami (Ron Schnorf) and Danny (Linda); and five grandchildren, Ambar, Tina, Curtis, Courtney and Sara.

JoAnne is preceded in death by her husband, Gene, and 10 siblings. Whether you know her as "JoAnne" or "Marie," you know that she was an incredibly strong and generous woman with a fierce and compassionate love for her family and friends. Her love was truly unconditional; she loved us to our core.

She was married March 11, 1951, in West Frankfort, to Paul Wilburn.

Mr. Winget was retired from Old Ben Mine No. 26.

He graduated in 1954 from Benton High School and was a member of Caldwell Baptist Church and the United Mine Workers.

He was born May 9, 1936, in Logan to Velmar and Virginia (Toms) Winget.

He married Jean Rae Haskell on June 11, 1955, in Wheaton. She survives.

Other survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Teri and Jerry Joyner of Golconda and Melody Winget of West Frankfort; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Leslie Jr. and Kathleen Winget of West Frankfort and Scott Winget of Dayton, Ohio; one granddaughter, Leslie Ann Winget; and one sister, Doris Irvin of Benton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Leon and Velmar, one sister, Phyllis, and one daughter, Lori Ann Winget in 1976.

He was born July 11, 1957, in Oak Park, to Leslie Winget Sr. and Jean (Haskell) Winget.

He married Fanny Janneth Winget.

Survivors include his wife, Fanny Janneth Winget of Honduras; mother, Jean Winget of Beecher; two sons, Leslie Eugene Winget III and wife, Becca of Annapolis, Maryland and Leon Winget of Griffith, Indiana; daughter, Lindsay Winget Lowe and husband, Sean, and their son, Colton Major Lowe of Minot, North Dakota; sisters, Teri Winget Joyner and husband, Jerry, and their two children, Michael and James of Stonefort and Melody Winget Maddox and son Mark Winget of Fort Branch, Indiana; a brother, Scott Winget and wife, Barbie and their children, Blake, Taylor, Kaden and Wyatt of Beecher; two stepsons, Daniel and Isaac; and many loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leslie Winget Sr.; and by a sister, Lori Ann Winget.

He was a member of the Life Church in Joliet. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1975 to 1981 and was a member of the American Legion Post 364 of Carrier Mills.

Bud graduated from Rend Lake College in 1983 and from Colorado Technical University in 2008 and 2010 he got his MBA. He was a National Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist.

A 14 year old Marion girl was killed Thursday when a car she was riding in left the road, hit a utility pole and overturned.

Lori Winget, daughter of Mr. and Mrs, Leslie Winget of Route 1, was dead on arrival at Marion Memorial Hospital. Her sister, Melody Winget, 15, suffered minor injuries.

The driver, Richard Stockberger, 20, of Route 5, was apparently unhurt. ...

Miss Winget was born November 16, to Leslie and Jean Haskell Winget She was a student at the Johnson City High School.

Survivors are her parents of route 1, Marion, two brothers, Leslie Jr., stationed with the Navy and Scott Allen, at home; two sisters, Melody at home and Teri Joyner of Route 5, Marion.

Also surviving include a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Edward and Kellie Haskell of West Frankfort; a daughter, Lori Haskell and friend, Duane Williams, both of West Frankfort; four stepsons and their wives, Patrick and Olga Jones of Elmwood Park, Raymond and Susan Jones of Phoenix, Ariz., Richard and Jeannie Jones of Dexter, Mo.; and James and Tammy Jones of Glen Gordon; 20 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Clarence Edward Haskell of Addison; four sisters, Dora Dugger of West Field, Ind., Joann Marie Crowell of Champaign, Jean Rae Winget of Evansville, Ind. and Mildred Campanite of chicago. Mr. Haskell had served in the United states Army in Viet Nam from Feb. 25, 1967 until Feb. 19, 1968. He received the bronze star with "V" device, the good conduct medal, Viet Nam service medal with three bronze service stars, the Republic of Viet Nam Gallantry Cross, the Sharpshooter Qualification Badge with Rifle Bar, the Marksman Qualification Badge with the Machine Gun Bar and the Valorous Unit Award, He also received the National Defense Service Medal, the Viet Nam Campaign Medal, one Overseas Service bar, the Combat Infrantyman's Badge and wa awarded the Purple Heart.

Mrs. Haskell was very active as a volunteer for the Salvation Army in West Frankfort for many years. She was a member of the Eastern Star Georgianna Chapter 635 of West Frankfort.

She was born July 19, 1940 in Chicago to Joseph and Mae (Longo) Schiro. They preceded her in death.

She was married to James Thomas Haskell, who preceded her in death Oct. 20, 2001.

He was born March 3, 1921, in Alabama to James and Anna (Haskell) Campbell.

Charlotte L. Campbell, 78, a homemaker, of Henderson, passed peacefully June 20, 2010. Charlotte was born in Cincinnati, Aug. 31, 1931, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Maxwell Parker Chatfield Jr.

She moved to Chicago in 1946. In 1949, she met the love of her life, Michael W. Campbell. They were together for 50 years. Michael, who was Mickey to all who knew him, passed in December 1999.

Together they had eight children, John Campbell and his wife, Beth, of Reno, Sandra Scott and her husband, Randy, Cheri Kehoe and her husband, Buddy, Michelle Adcox and her husband, Mel, and Patti Batemon and her husband, Fred, all of Henderson, Barbara Arnone and her husband, Mike, of Las Vegas, James Campbell of Ogden, Utah, and Mark Campbell of St. George, Utah; 22 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

Charlotte was a wonderful, loving mother and grandmother, loved by everyone who knew her and will be forever missed ... but she will live in our hearts forever.
