Miss Lathea A. Haskell, Sister of Mrs. Schramm of Burlington Dies
Burlington, March 3rd- The funeral of Lethea Adams Haskell, who died at Mt. Pleasant Thursday, will be held this afternoon from the Unterkircher funeral home with burial in Aspen Grove cemetery. Dr. Naboth Osborne will conduct the services. For some years she had lived in Burlington with her sister, Mrs. Ella H. Schramm. She also leaves four brothers, Daniel, Charles, Frank and Walter Haskell, of Burlington.
Miss Haskell was born in Burlington, Dec. 1, 1857, the daughter of Daniel and Margaret Farmer Haskell. Educated in public and private schools here, she became a successful teacher and after attending the Iowa Wesleyan college and the University of California she became engaged in university extension work and continued this vocation until her health failed.
