Ulrich, and son, Larry (Jayne) Ulrich, both of Canadian Lakes; two grandchildren, Jeff (Rebecca) Ulrich and Kaylin Knowles; two great-grandchildren, Justin and Olivia Ulrich; sister-inlaw, Mary (Weldon) Crame; plus nieces and nephews.

February 6, 2014SHOOK, ERMA MAE Erma Mae Shook, age 86, of Sheridan, MI., went home to be with her Lord on Monday, February 03, 2014. Erma was born November 10, 1927, in Grand Rapids, MI., to LeRoy and Erma Turney. Erma married Elvis Shook on June 9, 1946.
Erma was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers and three sisters.
Erma is survived by her husband Elvis Shook of 67 years and one sister, Kay Veenstra, (Merle) and five children, Gerald Shook (Sherry), Lona Shaw, Stephen Shook (Brenda), Dan Shook, Cindy Whitmill (Bob). 30 Grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
As a pastors wife, Erma took pride in and enjoyed serving her Lord. Erma was always someone who would lift you up with a ready smile or hug. Her door was always open and coffee was always at the ready. Erma will be greatly missed.

Elvis Edward Shook, age 91, formally of Sheridan, Michigan went home to be with his Lord and Savior on, Thursday, November 10, 2016. Elvis was born on November 15, 1924 to Gale and Mina Shook. Elvis served his country in the Navy for 3 years. As well as running a farm for many years. He also worked at Lansing Drop Forge.
Elvis studied to become a minister and became ordained. He served as pastor to many in the Wesleyan denomination as well as the Free Methodist denomination as well as the House of Prayer for over 35 years. Elvis was known for his quick smile, a Big Hug, being a prayer worrier, and always having the coffee on.
He is preceded in death by His beloved wife Erma Mae (Turney) Shook of 62 years, his parents, Gale and Mina Shook also of Sheridan, Michigan, and a brother Elgie Shook.
He leaves behind his children, Gerald and (Sherry) Shook, Lona Shaw, Stephen and (Brenda) Shook, Daniel Shook, and Cynthia and Bob Whitmill. A sister Eldora Schmidt and a Brother Brian and (Cletus) Shook. Elvis was blessed with 30 Grandchildren, 28 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great, Great grandchild.
He leaves behind a legacy of his faith in his God and of a rich and full life that he shared with all. We rejoice as we know that Elvis will be walking on the streets of gold. He will be greatly missed by so many.
