Grace Greenwood Westlund age 90 of North Lake, Illinois passed away October 3, 2001 in Melrose Park, IL. She was born February 20, 1911 in Bellingham, WA to Thadeus and Caroline (Ward) Cox.

Grace graduated from Ferndale High School. She was a bookkeeper for Columbia Valley Lumber while living in Whatcom County. She moved to Chicago, IL, in 1979 where she was a clerk for the Better Business Bureau. Grace was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in River Forest, IL.

Preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Westlund. Survived by her son, Larry Westlund of EImwood Park, IL.

Mrs. Daisy Martin, 77, widow of Jack Martin, died Tuesday at her home on West North Ave. She was born in Richland County on August 25, 1877 and had lived in this community her entire life.

She is survived by five sons, Lee Martin of New Holland, IL, Walter, John, Ernest and Carl Martin, all of Olney; one brother, Earl Haskell of Olney and one sister, Mrs. Lillie Franklin of Dundas. Also surviving are three children and four great grandchildren.
