Mary Rebecca Buzzell

Mrs. Mary Rebecca Tracy, 92, widow of Foster Tracy, died in Farmingdale, Saturday morning, Sept 16.

She was born in Milbridge, Nov. 9, 1851, daughter of Samuel Small Buzzell and his wife, Mary Jane White, coming to Cherryfield when she was three years old, and has since resided here.

Surviving are two daughters, Miss Caroline S. Tracy, principal of the Webster School, Augusta and Mrs. William McInnis of Brownville; two sons, George I. of Cherryfield and Arthur H. of Albany, N. Y.; one brother, Gilbert Buzzell, the only surviving member of a large family; eleven grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

The death of Miss Caroline Sproul Tracy, 62, occurred in Augusta on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 23. Miss Tracy was born in Cherryfield, August 8, 1884, daughter of Foster and Mary (Buzzell) Tracy. She was graduated from Cherryfield Academy and Farmington State Normal School. She taught in her native town until 1920 when she went to Augusta, where she was principal of the Webster school.

Surviving are two brothers, George I. Tracy of Cherryfield and Arthur H. Tracy of Albany, N. Y.; one sister, Mrs. William McInnis, of Brownville, and several nieces and nephews.

Aaron Simpson Rolfe, of Gouldsboro, died at the home of his son, George Rolfe, At Stanley's Point, Steuben, April 16, aged nearly eighty years. Mr. Rolfe was a native of Gouldsboro, and had always made his home here,

In 1856 he married Lizzie Jane Clements, who died seven years ago.

They had no children but adopyed two - a daughter, Etta, who died ten years ago, and a son, George.

Since the death of his wife, Mr. Rolfe's life had been a particularly lonely one, especially for the last two years since he partially lost his eyesight.

Besides the son, he leaves one sister - Mrs. Laura E. Hovey, and one brother - Wilmot Rolfe, both of Gouldsboro.
