65889. Sherman Elwell Eaton

Sherman E. Eaton at age 40 was a plumber in the plumbing and heating business (1930 Federal Census for Rockland, ME).


65906. Arthur Herbert Eaton

Arthur H. Eaton was a seaman at age 26 at the time he married Asenath Eaton.  At age 50 he was a mariner (1920 Federal Census for Deer Isle).  In Deer Isle town records for October 1936 he is listed as an engineer.


Freeman Charles Haskell

Freeman Charles Haskell at age 42 was a  lobster fisherman (1900 Federal Census for Stonington, Hancock county, ME).  He died of pneumonia.

Camden Sept. 23 - Maynard A. Eaton, 55, husband of Alura (Williams) Eaton, died in a Camden Gospital Thursday.

He was born in Vinalhaven May 13, 1904, the son of Frank and Nancy (Beggs) Eaton.

He lived most of his life in Camden. For the past eight years he had been employed by William Chatfield.

Surviving besides his widow is his mother of South Thomaston; a son Alfred R. Eaton of Hartford, Conn.; a daughter, Mrs. Karlene M. Farrar of Rockland; a brither, Winslow R. Eaton of Camden; a sister, Mrs. Doris Makie of South Thomaston; four grandchildren.
