Deer IsleCapt. Albert L. Haskell, 82, formerly of this town, died March 5, at his home in Port Jefferson, Long Island, N. Y., after a few days illness.
He is survived by a daughter, Helen Haskell Bergen and a granddaughter. His wife, Rebecca, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Francis M. Holden of Deer Isle, died in July 1932.
Capt. Haskell was the last member of a large family and was born at the old homestead owned by his brother, the late Capt. Dudley Haskell.

August 21, 1941Charleston, Aug. 20 - Richard H. Weston, 81, died Tuesday at his home after several months' illness.
He had resided hrer three years, coming from Bangor. He was a retired railroad man.
He leaves a son Harold of Bangor; a daughter, Mrs. Alice Cyrtis, of South Brewer; brother, Orrin of Kingman; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Orrin Matilla Eaton at age 44 was employed as a day laborer (1900 US Federal Census for Deer Isle). In 1927 he is listed in Deer Isle town records as a farmer.
Sadie Eaton Powers and her infant son both died at the time of the son's birth.
Charles A. Eaton was a fisherman.
Harlan Billings at age 32 was a sailor (1900 Federal Census of Deer Isle). At age 43 he is listed in Deer Isle town records as a farmer at the time of his marriage to Marzilla Eaton.
William G. Hardy at age 25 was a yachtsman (1900 Federal Census for Deer Isle).
Edwin E. Eaton was a master mariner at the time of his marriage to Elzina C. Eaton.
Charles H. Haskell was a mariner and fisherman.
Harold F. Joyce was a house carpenter (1920 US Federal Census for Deer Isle).
Eugene Eaton was a yacht captain (1930 US Federal Census for Deer Isle).
