May 10, 1962John Franklin Holden, 89, of 222 Elm Street, Bangor, died Wednesday evening at a local hospital.
Born in Bangor February 16, 1973, he was the son of Franklin M., and Abbie (Trecarten) Holden.
Mr, Holden worked for the Railway Express for 42 years, retiring 20 years ago. He was a member of Rising Virtue Lodge, A. and F.M., a former member of the Bangor Masonic Club and attended the First Methodist Church.
Surving are two daughters, Mrs. Carlton Smart of Maxfield, and Mrs. Cecil Godfrey of Old Town; eight grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren.
