Mr. Adkinson was a citrus grower. Born in Indianapolis, he moved to Central Florida in 1925. He was Methodist.
Survivors: sons, James, Atlanta, Harry, Robert, both of Philadelphia, Michael, Orlando; daughter, Martha, Atlanta; sister, Myra Pickard, Clermont; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

November 6, 2003Mrs. Myra A. Pickard, 89, of Clermont, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2003.
Born in Chicago, she moved to Clermont in 1955 from Orlando. Mrs. Pickard was a member of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority, Founders and Patriots, and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She is survived by Daughters: Marsha Crawley of Clermont, and Merrilee Lipthrott of Seattle, Wash.; Sons: George Lawrence Pickard of Bristol, Tenn., Wesley Andrew Pickard of Clermont; 12 Grandchildren and 6 great Grandchildren.

December 27, 1984Rowan M. Pickard, 76, 255 Orange Ave., Clermont, died Wednesday. Born in Minnesota, he moved to Clermont in 1922. He was a citrus grove owner.
Survivord: eife, Myra; sons, George L., Bluff City, Tenn., Wes, Alaska; daughters, Marsha Crawley, Ferndale, Merrilee Lippthrott, Seattle; three sisters; seven grandchildren.
Helen Phillips was the daughter of Philander Phillips and Agnes Kegreis (never married), she was raised by Kit Carson Phillips, brother of Philander, and his wife Sarah Jane.
