Mrs. Estella Spicer, 84, of Wheaton, Ill., formerly of LaGrange, died yesterday after a brief illness.
Mrs. Spicer was born Jan 21, 1893. She was a member of the LaGrange Baptist Church when she lived in the area.Survivors are a son, Clifford, Wheaton, Ill., with whom she made her home; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Kehres and Mrs. Mildred Marsch, both of Rock Creek, Ohio.
Her husband, Judson, died in 1962.

June 9, 2000HILTON HEAD ISLAND -- C. William ''Bill'' Spicer, 81, died June 7 at the Preston Health Center.
The native of LaGrange, Ohio, moved to Hilton Head Island in 1984 from Pittsburgh. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati, with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He then served in various positions at U.S. Steel and was coordinator of its Total Quality Program, with headquarters in Pittsburgh, when he retired in 1984.
He served on numerous committees of the American Institute of Mining & Metallurgical Engineers, the American Society of Metals (in which he was named an ASM Fellow) and the American Institute of Steel Engineers. He published numerous technical papers on the subjects of physical metallurgy, steel making and steel processing.
He was a member of Dolphin Head Golf Club and First Presbyterian Church.
SURVIVORS: his wife, Phyllis Lucille Rawson Spicer; two daughters and a son-in-law, Elaine Marie Spicer, and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jackson; a son and daughter-in-law, Philip Gordon and Marsha Spicer; a stepson, Andrew Owens; and six grandchildren.

April 20, 1973Mrs. Josephine Horton, 71, Hartland Center Road, died Thursday evening at Community Nursing Center, Marion, where she had resided a month.
Born in Lowell, she lived in Collins for four years, moving from Parma, where she had lived for 40 years.
She was secretary to the superintendent of Parma Schools for 20 years. She was a member of Parma South Presbyterian Church, and a church deacon; a member of Dennison Chapter No. 436, E.O.S., Cleveland; past resident of Mary Worth Auxiliary of Cleveland, and past royal matron, Order of Amaranth, Parma Court, No. 28. She also was a member and past president of Ohio Association of Public School Employes and past president of Parma Council, PTA.
Surviving are a son, William C., Collins; three grandsons; a sister, Mrs. Emma McCarty, Milwaukee, and three brothers, Fred Marsh, Yorktown; Charles, Cleveland, and Edward, Rock Creek.

November 3, 2001AMELIA -- William C. 'Bill' Horton, 72, of Amelia, formerly of Wakeman, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2001, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Cincinnati.
He was born Aug. 6, 1929, in Cory, Pa. He lived in Wakeman from 1978 to 1996.
He graduated from Parma High School in 1948 and served in the Coast Guard and Air Force before working for General Motors, Parma. After he retired he made custom golf clubs.
He was a member of the Professional Club Makers Society, the Golf Club Makers Association, the National Rifle Association and United Auto Workers Local 1005. He was a life member of the American Motorcycle Association and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3954, Batvia. He had been a member of Camden Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Audrey Horton (nee Hulka); sons William J. Horton of Dallas, Texas, Karl W. Horton of Wakeman and Bryan W. Horton of Amelia; and six grandchildren.

December 22, 2002Funeral services for Andrew "Andy" Johnson Marsch, 66, of Thompson will be held 1 p.m. Friday, at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison.
Mr. Marsch died Dec. 19, 2002, at his residence.
He was born May 10, 1936, in Leroy Township. He lived in Northeast Ohio all of his life, living in Thompson since 1957.
He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a trustee of Rock Creek Conservation Club, a Life member of VFW Post 7939, in Leroy, a Life member of American Legion Post 112, (Jay Wilson Post), a Life member of the AMVETS in Perry, member of the Eagles, and former President of the Ledgemont School Board.
Mr. Marsch was the owner of Marsch Machine Products in Thompson, which he began in 1964.
Survivors are his wife, Marlene Marsch; son, Andy J. (Sharon) Marsch III, of Birmingham, Ala.; daughter, Pamela A. Fleissner of Lakeland, Fla.; grandchildren, Stephanie Fleissner, Andy J. Marsch IV, Adam Marsch, and Alec Marsch; brothers, Tom (Joan) Marsch of Illinois, and Ray (Jane) Marsch of Middlefield; sisters, Sylvia (Bob) Blaszkiewicz of Illinois, Isabelle (Earl) Lundgren of Florida, Clara (Eldon) Bubb of Arizona, Hazel (Pete) Peterson of Illinois, Pat (Keith) Rohrbaugh of Mentor, Barbara (Ray) Townsend of Montville, Nancy (Don) Reiser of Texas, and Carolyn (John) Collins of Madison; brother-in-law, Al Dunham of Florida; sister-in-law, Laverne Marsch of Andover; and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves friends, Jim and Jan Dwyer of Thompson, and Pat Marsch of Illinois.
His parents, Edward and Mildred (Horton) Marsch Sr.; brother, Edward Marsch Jr.; and sisters, Edna Marsch and Virginia Dunham, are deceased.

January 7, 1980Mrs. Louise Perry, 58, of 928 West Drive, died at 4:30 a.m. today in Northwest Texas Hospital.
A secretary for Borger Independent School District, she was a native of Collinsville, Okla. and a Hutchinson County resident for 41 years.
Mrs. Perry was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Athena Club and Wpomen's Division of Chamber of Commerce.
Surviving are her husband, John B.; one daughter, Mrs. Patricia Coleman of Borger; two sons, Mike of Borger and Robert Allan of the home and four grandchildren.

A retired heavy equipment operator with the Operating Engineers Local 819, he was a native of Paola, Kansas and a Borger resident for 51 years.
He was a U.S. Army Air Corps in WWII and a Methodist.
He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Coleman of Borger; two sons, Mike Perry and Robert Perry, both of Borger; two sisters, Irma Nettles of Borger and Doris Sult of DeLeon; four grandchildren.
