July 17, 1991Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the W.S. Davis Funeral Home, North Main St., for John C. Haskell, 88, of Main Street. Burial will be in Sandusky Cemetery.
He died Monday (July 15, 1991) in Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo.
Haskell retired in 1968 from the Westinghouse plant in Cheektowaga. He was a 66-year member of Arcade Lodge 419, F & AM.
His wife, Katherine Stephan Haskell, died in 1988.
A daughter, Marie Stein of North Tonawanda, survives.

Genevieve M. Haskell, 97, died Sunday at Loretto, where she had been a resident for several years.Previous to Lor-etto, her home was in DeWitt for 20 years. Mrs. Haskell was employed by Syracuse University and Smith Corona.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edgar Haskell, and a son, Robert Haskell.
She is survived by her daughter, Pat Hoff of DeWitt; two grandchildren, Steve Hoff of Charlotte, NC, and Karen Persse of Hastings; and five great-grandchildren.

HOWARD G. MILLINGTON, 74, of Urbana, died Sunday, July 22, 2001, in Wellington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Urbana. He was born on July 7, 1927 in Ashtabula County, Ohio. He was the son of Oren L. and Cora (Turner) Millington. He retired from International Harvester as a Machine Repair Machinist.
He was a member of the United States Trotting Association and the Ohio Harness Horsemen's Association. He was a horseman for many years, working with and owning many horses, his favorite horse being Margene Mister. For a man who had a humble beginning, he owned several businesses, even holding several patents.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Ronald Oren (Susan) Millington of Urbana; daughters Marcia K. Millington of Springfield and Georgia Diane (Sam) Teets of Sidney; two sisters, Bertha Watson Keister of Florida and Frances DeBruyn of Florida; brother, Bernard Millington of Missouri; grandchildren, Eric Teets, Kevin Teets, Stephanie Huffman, Brian Millington, and Elizabeth Millington; great granddaughter, Shelby Lynn Huffman and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Lela Elizabeth, who passed away in June of 1998.

October 15, 1992RUTLAND - Jesse B. Nelson, 89, of Barre-Paxton Road, died yesterday in Lincoln Nursing Home, Worcester, after an illness.
His wife, Mildred M. (Brownson) Nelson, died in 1984. He leaves a son, Robert I. Nelson; a daughter, Shirley J. Hubbard, both of Princeton; a sister, Myrtle Landry of Holden; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was born in Princeton, son of Benjamin O. and Carrie B. (Richardson) Nelson, and lived many years in Worcester before moving here 38 years ago.
He graduated from the former Princeton High School.
Mr. Nelson was a mechanic for many years at the former Atamian Motors in Worcester, retiring in 1977. He later did Volkswagen repair work at his home.

March 17, 1992MARY E. HORTON, 80, of Clearwater died Sunday at Clearwater Community Hospital. A native of Wellington, Ohio, she moved to the area in 1984 from Elyria, Ohio. She was Baptist.
She is survived by three sons, Roger of Marblehead, Ohio, and Keith and Ralph, both of Clearwater; and seven grandchildren.

Geraldine "Gerry" M. Marsh (nee Horton), 104, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday December 25, 2015 at Life Care Center of Elyria. She was born October 10, 1911 in Elyria.
Mrs. Marsh was a life-long resident of Lorain County having resided in Elyria, Oberlin and Grafton. She was a 1930 graduate of Penfield High School and a 1931 graduate of Elyria Business College. She was the first woman employee of Northern Savings and Loan Company in Elyria and worked in their office from 1936 to 1944. She then worked in the office at Bendix-Westinghouse in Elyria for eight years and she also worked for several years in the office of the General Telephone Company in Oberlin. Mrs. Marsh was a charter member of Midview Baptist Church in Grafton and was actively involved in several ministries for many years, including; teaching Sunday school and Vacation Bible School, served as the church treasurer and the church pianist, and also serving as a camp-counselor for young ladies at Camp Patmos on Kelly's Island.
She is survived by one son, Gary Pelton (Pam) of Ashland; one daughter, Janet Smith of Fredericktown; a daughter-in-law, Louise Pelton of West Salem; 12 grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren; one brother, Clyde Horton (Edna) of Elyria; and by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by; her husband, J. Russell Marsh in 1996; two sons, Leonard Marsh in 1997 and Richard Pelton in 2010; her parents, Clyde and Bertha (nee Sanders) Horton; three sisters, Mildred Pelton, Fern Wolfe and Hazel Menzies ; and by two brothers, Kenneth and Lyle Horton.

August 28, 2019SPRING HILL, TN. - Phyllis I. (nee Leonard) Horton, 92, of Spring Hill, TN, formerly of New London, OH passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2019. Phyllis was born October 10, 1926 in Avon, OH to George and Natalie (nee Mohr) Leonard.
Phyllis is a graduate of Avon High School. She retired after working 18 years as the Payroll Administrator at Lorain County Community College.
Phyllis enjoyed spending time crafting, gardening and bird watching.
Beloved mother of Susan (James) Kolesar of Spring, TX, Steve Horton of Spring Hill, TN, loving grandmother of Brian Horton of Columbia, TN; and sister of James Leonard of Longview, TX.
Preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Lyle Horton, and parents George and Natalie Leonard.

He was born August 3, 1924 in Eaton Township and was a lifelong Lorain County resident.
Clyde worked as a laborer at the former Don Beal Construction Company.
Survivors include his wife of 73 years, Edna (nee-Morris); daughters, Linda Weber and Karen (Larry) Schuster; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
