Mrs. Pollock passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2001 at the Guest House after a lengthy illness. She was born in South Pasadens, Ca and had resided in the Stonewall and Shreveport area since 1947. Mrs. Pollock was a home maker and a former member of the Summer Grove United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Tom Pollock of Shreveport, a daughter, Claudia Thompson of Plano, TS, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery Shreveport, La. for Tom P. Pollock, age 88 of Allen,Tx. on Saturday February 4, 2006 at 3:30 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. McKee Williams. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 p.m. at Centuries Funeral Home.

Mr. Pollock entered into rest on Thursday February 2, 2006 at the Victoria Gardens Nursing Home, Allen, Tx. after a brief illness. Mr. Pollock was a former resident of Shreveport for 53 years. He was retired from the Louisiana State Employment Office with 35 years of service. He was a member of the Mormon Church and a very loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Jean Pollock.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Claudia Thompson of Plano, Tx.; two sisters, Iva Lee Melton of Tulsa, Ok., and Betty Lou Pfundt and husband Dr. Theodore R. Pfundt of Oklahoma City, Ok.; two grandchildren, Kelli Ivy and Holli Tomme, both of Allen, Tx.; four great-grandchildren and a host of friends.

A memorial service be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, 2001, in Marquis Care Center in Portland for Helen Elizabeth Haskell, who died Oct. 16 at age 90.

Mrs. Haskell was born Helen Elizabeth Anderson on Nov. 24, 1910, in Murrieta, Calif. She moved in about 1944 to Portland. She was a homemaker and also worked for her husband's veterinary clinic. She volunteered for Hollywood Loaves & Fishes for 22 years and in the 1980s taught knitting at Portland Community College. In 1929, she married Paul B. Haskell; he died in 1960.

Survivors include her daughter, Suzanne L. Koch; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
