May 8, 1914Charles B. Hascall [sic] died yesterday afternoon of tuberculosis at the home of his mother, Mrs. Marion Hascall, 855 Paterson street. He had been ill about two years and had to quit his work in Owosso where he was employed by the United States Express company some time ago. Since that time he has been living most of the time with his mother. He was 32 years old. He was married in Owosso to Irene Elliff four years ago.
Besides his wife and mother he leaves one son, Ellif charles, three years old, and three brothers, Deforest and Ralph at home and Arthur of Millington.

HASKELL - Ralph Howell, 818 E. Philadelphia, age 54, died Friday, October 24, 1946. Death was caused by complications after an illness of 6 months.
He was born in Flint, Mich., May 27, 1892, and lived all his life in Genesee county. He was employed at Chevrolet Motor Co. Plant 4 for the last 18 years.
Surviving are: wife Christine; 6 daughters, Mrs. Marion Stafford; Mrs. Donna Sewell, Mrs. Rose Fortin, Mrs. Lucille Bird, Misses Audrey and June, all of Flint; 3 sons, John, Clifford and Ralph, all of Flint; 2 brothers DeForest and Arthur Haskell, both of Flushing.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.

Mr. Haskell was born in Flint, Michigan, November 1, 1919, the son of Ralph and Christine Rise Haskell, and had been a resident of Flint his entire life. He married Addie Sewell in Flint, April 27, 1947. Mr. Haskell had been employed by Buick Motor Division for 32 years in the Shipping and Receiving Department.

Lucille was born September 2, 1921 in Columbiaville, MI, the daughter of Ralph H. and Christine A. (Reiser) Haskell.
She married William L. Bird on August 29, 1942 and he preceded her in death on July 19, 1974. She then married Earl F. Baumgartner in 1975 and he preceded her in death on February 7, 1989.
Lucille retired from McLaren Hospital in 1974 as a pediatric LPN. She was a member of Gulfview Grace Brethren Church in Florida and attended Central Baptist Church in Flint.
Surviving are: daughter-in-law, Sharon of California; six grandchildren, Scott, John, Lisa, Christina (Ralph), Rebecca and Amie (Richard); many great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by: daughter, Judy on October 18, 2000; son, Thomas on October 7, 2001; infant son, Harry; five sisters, Marion Stafford, Donna Sewell, Rose Fortin, June Thomas and Audrey Clark; three brothers, John, Clifford and Ralph Haskell.

October 7, 2005HASKELL, Ralph Edward - Age 81, of Pontiac, formerly of Flint, died Thursday, October 6, 2005 at his residence.
Mr. Haskell was born May 27, 1924 in Flint, the son of Ralph Howell and Christine Ann (Riser) Haskell.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Haskell retired from GM in 1985 where he was employed in Tool & Dye. He loved to travel anywhere including Alabama, Yellowstone and Alaska.
Surviving are: two sons, Ralph W. (Dorothy) Haskell of Detroit, Allan A. (Jeannie) Haskell of Fenton; two grandsons, Brad A. Haskell and John A. (Heather) Roebuck, all of Lake Orion; two sisters, Audrey Clark and Lucille Baumgartner.

He married Joanne Brintnell on January 11, 1951 in Flint. Mr. Haskell attended Flint Northern High School and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the U. S. Marine Corp. He retired from Buick Motor Division as a set up man for Plant 10. He was a member of the Bancroft Lions Club, Senior Citizens of Durand and an active member of UAW Local 599 Retirees.
Surviving are: wife, Joanne; daughter, Brenda and husband Martin Brown of Byron; 2 brothers, Rex Haskell of Byron, Ralph Haskell of Flint; 2 sisters, Lucille Bumgartner of Florida, Audrey Cowell of Durand; 2 grandchildren, Derick Haskell, Thomas Reed Brown; several nieces and nephews.
