July 25, 1984Anna B. Burns , 49, of Sumerset Condominiums, died Monday at Cape Cod Hospital after a four week illness. She was the widow of William F. Burns Jr.
She was born in Galveston, Tex., a daughter of William C. Carker of Galveston, and the late Anna (Leifert) Carker. She had lived in the Cape Cod area nine years.
Besides her father and stepmother, Arlene Carker of Galveston, she leaves five sons, Carl Vincent Jr. of Texas City, Tex., Richard V. Burns of Orleans, S/Sgt. William C. Burns Jr. of Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Md., Frederick Burns of East Providence and Lenard Burns of Newark, N.J.; two daughters, Barbara L. True of Novato, Calif., and Kelly D. Burns of Orleans; two brothers, J. B. Carker of Oklahoma and George Carker of Galveston; a sister, Ruth Craft of Galveston; and three grandsons.
