April 9, 1998Memorial services for Orlo "Babe" Adams, 84, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Central Community Church in Riverside. He died Sunday of a brain hemorrhage at Parkview Community Hospital Medical Center in Riverside.
Mr. Adams, who was born in Huntley, Minn., lived at Lake Mathews five years. He was a bartender at Elks Lodge 1929 in Inglewood.
He is survived by two grandchildren, Peggy Barreto and Vicky Wedworth; and three great-grandchildren, Colene, J.R. and Hilary Barreto, all of Lake Mathews.

Myrtle was born Aug. 1, 1915, at Dell, the daughter of Stienar and Sophia Mikkelson. She was a graduate of Blue Earth High School in 1933. On Nov. 11, 1934, she married Carl J. Adams in Dell. The couple worked together most of their married life. Carl and Myrtle were the owners/operators of a Ben Franklin Store in Rochester for 20 years until retiring in 1976 and moving to Elmore. Myrtle was very involved in activities at St. Luke's and enjoyed doing puzzles.
Myrtle T. Adams is survived by her sons, Alan (Merlin) Adams, Jon (Mary Alice) Adams, both of Bella Vista, Ark. and Robert (Renee) Adams of Marshall, Wisc.; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Fern Adams of Blue Earth and Ginger Adams of Tyler, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, and son, Terry, both in 2000; brothers, Selmer, Melvin and Oscar Mikkelson; sisters, Sarah Anderson, Josephine Kramer and Clara Jenson; and one granddaughter.
